Governance and Leadership Structure

The proprietorship consists of the Proprietor, Nathan Schreiber, who serves as the Chair of the Proprietary Board for Blossom Rose School. Supporting this governance structure is the Director of Education, who holds an executive role with dual accountability—reporting both to the Resicare Senior Management Team (SMT) and directly to the Proprietor.

In addition, the school benefits from an Advisory Board, which includes key stakeholders with expertise in safeguarding and curriculum development. This board provides strategic support to the provision lead and acts as a critical friend, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement across the school.

SAFEGUARDING

The safeguarding principles for a school like Templecroft (or any educational institution) typically aim to ensure the safety,

well-being, and protection of students from harm, abuse, and neglect. These principles often follow national and local safeguarding policies. Here are the key safeguarding principles for a school setting:

Prevention
Protection
Partnership
Empowerment
Transparency and Accountability
Confidentiality and Information Sharing
Promoting a Positive Culture
Early Intervention

By adhering to these principles, Templecroft School would ensure that it upholds a strong, proactive, and supportive safeguarding culture that prioritizes the safety and well-being of all its students.

Templecroft School is in Bedfordshire. A place that is famous for its connection to the author of ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress,’ John Bunyan, who was born nearby and imprisoned in Bedford where he wrote his famous works.

At Templecroft School we address the challenges raised on a day-to-day basis and our curriculum safeguards its students through a very robust PSHE curriculum covering topics on, online safety, health, and relationships. Strong partnerships with Bedfordshire LA and local police agencies to help with contextual safeguarding for our students.
